Support Connection

Why THUSO?

THUSO was created after identifying a gap in how survivors and communities access GBV reporting and support services. Through research, community engagement, and discussions with relevant stakeholders, we discovered that many people face fear, uncertainty, stigma, and barriers when trying to seek help.

We Listen

We believe every report matters. THUSO provides a simple way for individuals to share their experiences and request assistance.

Privacy First

Users can choose whether they want to remain anonymous. We aim to collect only information necessary to connect people with support.

Community Driven

THUSO focuses on connecting communities with existing support structures instead of replacing organisations already doing important work.

How THUSO Works

1

Report Safely

A user selects "Report Now" and completes a simple reporting process designed to reduce barriers and encourage safe reporting.

2

Information Captured

The information is securely recorded and prepared for follow-up, referrals, or support depending on the user's needs.

3

Connect To Support

Users are guided towards available support services such as emergency contacts, organisations, and relevant assistance channels.

Designed With Safety In Mind

Anonymous Option

Users can choose to report without sharing personal identity information.

Quick Exit

A quick exit option helps users leave the platform quickly when they feel unsafe.

Accessible Anywhere

A web-based approach allows users to access support without downloading an application first.

Responsible Data Use

THUSO follows the principle of collecting only information needed to provide support.
